In the midst of sharing photos from numerous recent adventures and reunions, I overlooked highlighting the new cameras and lenses I acquired through the Kickstarter campaign. I recently had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Lauren Crofts, the talented founder of Denver Athletic Massage. Working with Lauren was a true delight as she brought a unique blend of enthusiasm and kindness to our photography project. She is truly one of the most enjoyable clients I have had the pleasure of working with in quite some time!

Lauren, boasting five years of licensed massage therapist experience, graduated from the Myotherapy College of Utah in 2018, driven by her passion for facilitating healing. With extensive knowledge of various modalities, she now focuses on Deep Tissue Massage, particularly valuable for athletes of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels. Beyond aiding muscle growth by alleviating soreness and fatigue, Lauren’s expertise extends to addressing chronic pain, enhancing mobility, and promoting overall bodily wellness.

It’s been slightly over four years since I launched Rebecca Sloan Creative at the end of 2019. They say that year five is make-or-break, and I’m determined to hustle as hard as humanly possible for this year.

I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey and the amazing people I’ve had the privilege to meet and work with along the way. The support and trust from clients has been instrumental in shaping this business and propelling it forward. I am immensely grateful for those who have entrusted me to capture their most precious moments and their beauty. It is an honor to be a part of their stories, from intimate events to joyful collaborations and brand launches, and everything in between. These projects allow me to continually grow and refine my craft, and for that, I am truly thankful. Looking back on the past four years, I am humbled by the kind words and feedback I’ve received from my clients, mentors, coaches and friends. These words not only validate my efforts and dedication I’ve poured into my work, but have also provided valuable insights for further improvement.

I understand the elements of trust and credibility in a service-oriented industry like photography. As a way to offer transparency and assurance to future clients, I am excited to share some excerpts of the wonderful testimonials that have been generously shared by those who have experienced my photography services firsthand.

As we stand on the cusp of new opportunities and exciting ventures, I am eager to continue delivering exceptional photography experiences and building lasting connections with each and every client I work with. Very few brands know the WHY they do what they do. Many know how they do it but not WHY. You don’t always hear people share about their purpose in life or their mission in business. It’s quite rare, actually.

It’s been difficult to articulate my WHY, but thanks to starting off 2024 differently than the last few years, I am gathering traction around many pieces, including my mission at Rebecca Sloan Photography.

Hi Everyone! Sharing what I originally only shared with a small circle of people. I am in the home stretch of a 60-day campaign to raise funds through Kickstarter to complete upgrading my photo equipment for $11,000.

Also in the video I shared that I am of the less than 1% of US citizens who live with hearing loss, who have lifelong profound hearing loss. Consider supporting a disability-owned small business in this time!
