It’s hard to believe that my youngest turned 13 yesterday!! I now have three teenage sons- and while that fact may cause me some anxiety, being a mama to teenagers has had its share of blessing. It’s trying and every bit of exhausting as having littles- in a different way- it is also rewarding. 20 years. I wish I had more to say, but words are escaping me. How do you put 20 years into words? I guess I can’t. So I’ll just say happy anniversary to my love. It has been a beautiful journey and I’m so grateful for the life God’s blessed us with. ❤️

As in I'm going to be teaching another one of my "babies" to drive. I'm literally sitting here shaking my head as I type this because it all seams so surreal to me.
Moms of older kids- When do you think it'll stop being so mind-blowing that our kids are growing up so quickly? Or do you think that it's something that will always feel so crazy weird.
I think it'll be that last one.
you are as sweet, kind, and compassionate as the day you entered this world. You are a remarkable. We are continually proud of the young man you are and continue to grow into.

тσԃαу му вαву тυяηѕ 12. TWELVE!! As in 12 years since he was born. As in 12- the last year before he becomes the third teenager living under this roof.

Can we just talk about how loud, often smelly, always grocery-getting life with teens is?! Can I get an amen?! 🙌🏻
To the other mamas of teens-
And I have to admit, I'm enjoying my boys as teens- today anyway.

Life with has always been an adventureв. He's been smiling pretty much since day 1 and he brings so much joy to our lives. Watch out for this one 🌍, he's going to do great things.

This man.
He is mine and I am his. He's my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, and the person I most want to do life with. When I tell him I'd like to attend a photography conference, he tells me I should teach a class. Um, yeah right. (Me in front of people means sweaty arm pits and splotchy red patches all up on my face.) But honestly, without his love-is-super-blind support, I would've been out of this business years ago because being a small business owner is hard. But that's a whine for another post because today is about this guy. ☝🏻
Today is his birthday, and I am forever grateful for 12.2.72.

Thinking about all my blessings on this Thanksgiving eve. 🦃 I love that we have a holiday that is centered around gratitude (and food). 🥧 I think that this year especially we need to focus on gratitude.🙏🏼

Did you know you can’t be fearful and grateful simultaneously? The next time you find yourself anxious or fearful- just count your blessings. Literally. It has been so helpful for me.
