finally got out to take some photos of the leaves changing- my favorite season!

for date night this time- i took us to the denver aquarium; took these pics with my samsung galaxy s6 (a CELLPHONE!!!!) a million times better than my iphone ever could. so. happy. *swoon*

my nikon "could" do this but it would have taken me a lot longer ...hot damn this was convienent!

i've always wanted to get star trails and such but i've not really explored HOW to get them. for our recent date night -chris surprised me and took me out to the middle of nowhere in an attempt to get some star pictures.... i felt like science dog (no idea what i was doing) ...i need to research this a bit before attempting it again ...for some reason i could only get my camera shutter to stay open for 30 seconds....

anyway the stars were absolutely stunning; i wish i could have done them justice~

our first big snow of the year! dante had a lot more fun this time around- so far we've got about 9 inches and it's still coming down!

we made a creepy snowman, made snow angels, took a lot of pics, and of course had a snowball fight. then we came in and had cocoa because...that's HOW YOU DO A SNOWDAY FOLKS!

my first trip back to this zoo since i was a kid- its gotten much better over the years. and even though it was snowing we still had a great time... sadly i didn't get to see the wolves (the one animal i really WANTED to see) and the lighting indoors was poor so i couldn't get as many pictures as i wanted... to see the rest check out my flckr (but these are the best ones)

there were a TON of animals i couldn't get pics of: the otters, elephants, rhino, hippo, most of the monkeys...they were all in their indoor enclosures with very low light T____T

sorry about the potato quality photo (taken with my cell) when the wind stops gusting 60mph then i'll take my nikon outside and get some good ones ;)
