At times it feels like the end times
I feel like I'm gon' get everything I want in time, but will it be in time?
A pandemic and climate change at the same time
Doesn't make you feel like everything's fine, quite the opposite
I'm a skeptic but I'm still quite the optimist
I'ma try to stay that way 'til I do not exist

In the town(?) of , and really kind of throughout rural areas of Switzerland, you can find countless sheep, goat, and cow farms. These lovelies were getting their munch on right in the middle of town. There's something incredibly wholesome about hearing a livestock bell while being surrounded by some of the best of what the Alps have to offer. We left Zermatt around noon today, and I have to say that I'm sincerely going to miss it. On to Zurich, a new adventure, and of course, plenty more food and drinks.

Thank you for opening my world to places and experiences I'm not sure I would have gotten the chance to experience without you. This trip is our honeymoon, and just like everything else we do, we made sure to tailor every aspect of it to what we wanted to, not what others did or suggested. Today is our last day in England, and we leave for Switzerland in the morning. I love you so much, and know the next 8 years of being together are going to be just as exciting, easy, and worth bragging about as this last 8. The world is only as big or small, exciting or scary, ugly or beautiful as you make it, and you've shown me that.

This is our (late) dinner last night. From top right clockwise..

Mutton marinated in a brown sauce for 24 hours with a side of fresh roti
Fresh naan
Butter chicken in a tomato curry
Chicken tikka
Garlic chili cheese toast.

And of course beer. A IPA made special for the restaurant, and NE style IPA named Road Soda

Needless to say... I was a very happy boy.

Today we got to have a pretty special afternoon tea at . It was honestly one of the highlights of our trip so far.

1. Wild mushrooms, confit garlic, pumpkin seed, squid ink choux
2. Avacado and feta mousseline, green chili, coriander, squid ink choux
3. Smoked salmon, yuzu dill cream cheese, Japanese cucumber, microbasel
4. Cornish crab salad, apple, celery, brioche, baby watercress (I didn't get to eat this one)
5. Steak tartare, creme fraiche, brioche toast, red raddish
6. Warm scone, clotted cream, fresh fruit jam
7. Lavender meringue, coconut ganache, passion fruit gelee, white chocolate petals
8. Vanilla mousse, lemon marmalade, cookie crumb, whipped basil ganache
9. Mascarpone mousse, Amarena cherry jam, dark chocolate, meringue "kisses"
10. Brown butter financier, strawberry jam, rose ganache, rose petals.
