I think authentic moments are the ones most worth capturing. it can be grocery shopping as a family... getting coffee before church on Sunday... hiking in blowing rock... spending the afternoon at the dog park… shopping for a Christmas tree… making pancakes on Saturday morning… having a date night… or getting married. I want to document moments that were going to be lived anyway.

I love stickers! Soooo… I had got these as a gift to celebrate Selah’s launch.

So this is a little sneak peek at the branding I did for my dear, talented friend Christy Archut’s new bodywork and massage business.

I was able to get a couple of massages with her recently and she didn’t just go through the motions to touch every area, she actually felt my muscles and paid attention and care to what my body needed. It was incredible.

For the past couple of months, seeing so much online with AI and the increased vulnerability of children has really weighed heavy on me.

As a photographer, I have to carry some responsibility for the content I share.

Moving forward I won’t be posting identifying photos of young kids.

It’s something I take into consideration when taking photos for organizations I work with and I always include social friendly photos for my clients who want to share online without showing their kids.

It’s getting scary out here for our kids and this account is public. So I’d rather give parents full authority on what images get shared of their kids.

But if you post photos please tag me I’d love to see your favorites!
