You don’t need a whole lot to make your photoshoot memorable and fun. Here are a few tips to help you shake the pre session jitters:
1. Wear clothes that make you feel fabulous. Have a favorite shirt/hat/jacket that you absolutely love? I always recommend folks wear things that bring confidence and comfort. It definitely shows in photos when you feel amazing! You don’t need a new outfit, just dig through the closet!
2. Don’t take it so seriously! I promise when most folks say to me “we’re so awkward/hate being photographed/etc” that they’re in for a good time. I like to keep it light and usually end up cracking dad jokes to make you laugh. Leave your worries at home and bring your best smile along!
3. Know that I want these photos to be more than just Instagram-able. I want these photos to take you back to good memories and feelings- they’re meant to reflect a time in your lives that is worthy of sharing with your future selves.

When your love for music collides with love for photographing humans ✨⚡️⭐️ the record store was absolutely the best place to take this cutie family, dad is in the music biz and mom is an avid music lover. Their sweet little babe was digging through the crates and finding records she knew and liked (at age 7, none the less). Photos are more than posed moments, they’re a reflection of a period of time in our lives. So, so grateful for the work that I do and to all of you who trust me to be there year after year 🤍

Incoming cuteness alert 🚨 baby Cruz stole my heart one cool Thursday afternoon when I was invited into Tasha and Corey’s home to photograph their sweetest new addition. I met Tasha over a decade ago when we were in a yoga teacher training together - we became friends and have stayed in my touch through all of these years. When she told me that they were expecting and wanted me to take some photos for them it was a no brainer! I am always so grateful to be welcomed into such precious space with new life - tiny babies are such sweet ethereal beings when they are so fresh to the air. I feel so fortunate to have these sort of connections with people and to stop time for them for just a short moment in a lifetime of memories. Don’t blink, because babies don’t keep 😭

Soooo grateful to have the opportunity to photograph so many amazing families this past year. Bridget and Jake made these cutie little humans and we frolicked in the sunshine back in September. I am also lucky enough to be photographing their wedding next spring and I am so excited to finally see them get to tie the knot!

I met Bridget when we lived next door to a barber shop she owned in 5 points - my husband would take photos for the barbers at the shop and also (still) get his haircut. I am so grateful our paths crossed and to document part of their story!

Only taking on a handful more weddings next year 🤯 so if you’re thinking about asking me to be there for your big day, holler at me! I want to take your photos 🤍✨
