My first wedding as a solo wedding photographer was in 2016. 📸

I remember showing up with my camera, doing my best, and figuring things out as I went. Looking back at these photos now and then looking at the weddings I photograph today feels a little surreal.

My style has changed. My eye has changed. I’ve learned what moments I want to hold onto and what kind of wedding photographer I want to be.

But I’m really glad I have these photos from the beginning. You don’t always notice how much your work is evolving while you’re in it. Sometimes you have to look back 10 years to see it.

2016 → 2026. A lot of weddings, a lot of learning, and still very happy to be behind the camera. 🤍

Best believe I’ll be getting all those angles, no matter what it takes 😂📸

Behind the scenes of the Rye Resurgence Project at Dry Land Distillery for Edible. Sometimes getting the shot means getting low, moving around, and finding the angle you didn’t know you needed.

All part of the process.

10+ years later and I still remember this one.

This was my first wedding workshop back in 2015, and looking through these photos now is such a time capsule.

There’s so much I would shoot differently today, which is probably my favorite part about looking back at them. You don’t really notice how much your eye changes when you’re in it every day.

I had no clue then how many weddings I’d go on to photograph, how many people I’d meet, or how much this work would become part of my life.

Anyway, enjoy this little trip back to 2015 with me. 🤍

Good BBQ deserves its close-up!

A few favorites from my shoot with Chef L.R. Laggy of Rang Tang BBQ for Edible Denver. And yes, photographing food is significantly harder when you also want to eat everything in front of you. 😂

Getting to photograph the people (and very delicious things) behind Colorado’s food scene has quickly become one of my favorite parts of this job.

Back to Catalina this week! 💙

I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some pretty incredible places for photography, but getting to return to a place I once called home will always feel a little different.

These photos are from a family session I photographed on Catalina a few years ago, and now, I’m heading back purely for fun. 😹 Just a few days on an island I love very, very much.

Catalina, I’ve missed you. See you soon! 🌊

Fall always has a way of sneaking up on us.

One minute it’s long summer evenings, and the next the leaves are changing, the air feels a little cooler, and suddenly it feels like the perfect time to capture this season of life.

So I’m getting ahead of it this year. 🤎

One of my favorite things about w**ery events is watching the community they've built.

A w**e pickup party isn't just about the newest releases, it's about catching up with familiar faces, sharing a meal, meeting new people, and enjoying an evening together.

It's always a joy getting to document these gatherings because the best moments are the ones that happen naturally. 🍷

Some wedding moments aren’t meant for an audience.

Just Derek & Kalyn, the mountains, the sound of the river below, and promises meant only for each other.

No audience. No distractions. Just the quiet beauty of choosing one another in a place that felt as breathtaking as the commitment they were making.

It was an absolute honor to witness their private vows and document a day that was so deeply, beautifully "them".

And if your dream wedding looks like private vows somewhere beautiful with no one else around, just know I will happily hike out there with you and treat that moment with all the care it deserves. ⛰️

The right women in your corner can change everything.

I was so excited to celebrate the launch of Extraordinary Wing Women: True Stories of Life-Altering, World-Changing Sisterhood by Kimothy Joy. It was a room full of connection, encouragement, and the kind of conversations that stay with you long after the night ends.

One of my favorite moments was watching my friend Megan offer tarot readings to women who came as business partners, best friends, sisters, and even brand new friends. Every reading felt like a little reminder that the people beside us matter.

We’re not meant to do life alone.

So tell me… who’s your wing woman? 🤍
