Most of the elopements I photograph are short and sweet (usually around two hours), but Margaret and Jon elected to have me document their whole day.
Because we had more time, they were able to get a variety of photos in different locations and lighting, creating a more dynamic gallery, and really telling the story of the day.
We started with getting ready at their Airbnb, headed to a beautiful aspen meadow to capture the fall colors, then gradually made our way to their ceremony location where we were blessed with *perfect* conditions. They were able to take the day at their own pace and it felt so relaxed and present 😌
After their ceremony, we continued with sunset photos all the way though the end of blue hour. We were really able to explore the area, get creative with lighting, and do a lot of things there usually just isn’t time for (more photos to come)! We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day ✨
