On Wednesday, June 3rd, filmmakers Missy Hernandez and Miguel Silveira are stopping at Su Teatro on their cross-country tour to teach a FREE "Make a Feature in a Day" masterclass on urgent, low-budget filmmaking.

Last week, OEDIT’s Colorado Creative Industries and Talent Innovation Divisions collaborated with Colorado Succeeds and the creative industries ecosystem in film, live events, theatre, art and dance to identify our critical talent needs. These innovators from across Colorado identified technicians, production assistants and project/program managers as our state's most in demand jobs. Using the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundations' Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) strategies, we are working together to prepare the workforce to meet industry requirements to be successful in high-priority jobs in the creative industries.

“Arts, film, live events and our creative industries are essential components of Colorado's economy. We see our talent pipeline key to ensuring our businesses in the live events, film, theatre and dance as components of our economic engine.”-OEDIT Executive Director Eve Lieberman.
