The best and most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at 🤌🏼

The views were immaculate, the distance to Old Town Dubrovnik was short and the ability to go into the pool or the beach and jump off the dock into the crystal clear sea was outstanding. And it was only $300/night (although we didn’t pay that much). America could never.

What do you do when you can’t decide which one of the 1000s of islands to visit on a weekend in Croatia? You just smush a bunch of them in on one day 🤠

I kept getting overwhelmed trying to decide between the most visited islands, reading reviews and recommendations, until I found a boat tour that would take us to several of the islands plus the famous blue cave. And with lots of swim spots!

I’ve been in Croatia for 3 weeks and Dubrovnik was by far the busiest and most crowded area we visited. And yet, if you walk just barely outside of the town square, you will find so many nice restaurants and bars that have barely anyone in them. I almost walked right past this place because their store front was just behind a very normal looking residential door.

We were some of the only people in this wine bar late in the afternoon on a Saturday. Live music, a natural canopy and really good wine on a rooftop 🍷

📍M’arden Dubrovnik

It says you need reservations, but we just walked in and were seated immediately. Truly a hidden gem.
