I’ve received a lot of questions about End-of-Life Pet Sessions, so I wanted to share a little more about what they are and why I offer them.
Our pets are never "just" pets. They are family. They are there through different chapters of our lives, our happiest days, our hardest days, and all of the ordinary moments in between.
An End-of-Life Pet Session is a photography session for families who know their time with their beloved pet may be coming to an end. These sessions are about slowing down and capturing the connection you share while you still have the opportunity.
There is no pressure for perfect poses or for your dog to behave a certain way. We move completely at their pace. We can photograph the way they look at you, the way you hold them, their favorite spot to lay, their paws, their gray hairs, their favorite toy, and all of those tiny details you never want to forget.
Sessions can take place outdoors at a location your dog loves or, if they are more comfortable at home, I can come to you. Senior dogs and dogs who are sick or have limited mobility are always accommodated.
And yes, these sessions can be incredibly emotional. You absolutely do not have to hold back tears or try to smile through the entire session. These photographs are about your real relationship and the love you have for them.
My goal is simply to give you something tangible to hold onto long after they cross the Rainbow Bridge. ❤
If you have questions about an End-of-Life Pet Session, please feel free to message me privately. I am always happy to talk through the process, answer questions, or help determine what would be most comfortable for you and your pet. 🤍
