Today is Jake & I’s one year anniversary as a married couple 🥰✨

Yes, yes, I can go on and on about how much I love Jacob. Nevertheless, he knows and I want to spread the love around to the most unexpected feeling I still remember to this day from the wedding.

Seeing our whole community together in one spot. Seeing family and friends before the wedding day around the venue. Casually getting lunch, going for a quick kayak ride, playing games downstairs. Celebrating by the lakeside at the rehearsal dinner and watching the moon rise over the trees.

Above all, walking down to everyone was so breathtaking. Seeing everyone I love gather was such an incredible miracle that I’ll cherish forever.

So today I want to say I love you to everyone who shows up and shows love for Jake and I. It’s always appreciated and cherished. Thank you all for allowing us into your beautiful lives because you are all wonderful humans we are honored to know & love. 💚

When Jake and I drove through the tall pine lined road leading up to the lodge, we knew Jessica and Matthew picked a GORGEOUS venue!

While there for their entire wedding weekend, it was easy to see the multiple reasons to fall in love with this venue…

🏕️ There was cozy lodging both in their incredible lodge and stand alone cabins for all their family and friends!

🛶 You could spend your time on the beach, playing big chess, on their mini golf course, watching their outdoor projected movies, and enjoying complimentary s’mores by the campfire EVERY NIGHT!

💚 Maybe it’s the wedding team that was so professional and friendly always ensuring the couples’ day is running smoothly!

🥘 Delicious food served hot and fresh at their brown Swan restaurant where you can have a private rehearsal dinner!

☕️ Refreshing farewell brunch on their new upgraded dock overlooking the rippling lake

The whole location is peaceful and ideal for outdoor lovers getting married!! 🕊️
