I picked up my first film camera in 2007 and was hooked- I moved on to digital in 2016 and have been practicing ever since. My favorite sessions to do are family and newborn sessions. I love meeting a family when they're booking their first maternity shoot and following them through the growth of their family.

Been taking a bit of a sabbatical for and focusing on my family and my health. But still manage to get some photos of this adorable little one on haircut day.

I’ve always been a big print girl- I get stacks of 4x6 photos (and bigger!) every few months and put them in various photo frames or photo clips around my house. My family gets lots of snail mail with pictures as well. I love to look at these photos on a daily basis.

But recently we got a digital photo frame for our living room and we love it so much that we’re probably going to get a second one! Seeing these memories and beautiful photographs of our family as it changes and grows has been a spark of joy in my mornings (and afternoons, and evenings).

My clients know that I love to sprinkle in a little black and white photographs here and there. I will always deliver an identical photograph in color as well, but there are certain shots that just do *so* well in B&W. Sometimes when a scene has loud colors on the edges, or distracting elements, a B&W scheme can really help hone in on the beautiful little moments.

Hello 👋 friends, followers, and swimwear spambots. It's me, Hanna, of Hanna Medina Photography. I've been privileged to be able to be able to take the last year or so off of photography work due to the birth of my son, as well as moving to what is rapidly shaping up to be my favorite place in the world. I'm now delighted to open my bookings again and am so looking forward to what this next season brings!
