This body of work focuses on faces, shoes, and the way people accessorize their lives. If you ask me what I like to photograph, people is the first word that comes to mind. You don’t need to be a model to have a flawless portrait taken. Sometimes we get so hypnotized with the “Instagram Lifestyle” and we try to put on a show for others to see. I focus on capturing people on a real level without the glitz and glam. When photographing people my eyes automatically gravitate towards their shoes. I’ve always had an obsession with shoes, which is how my large collection of shoes came about. My love for shoes stems from my mom and sisters; who religiously buy a new pair every Sunday. I will take pictures of shoes any chance I get.
