Here’s a collection of my favorite shots I took from my latest trip (and final) to the Abandoned Waterpark Resort!

Some of these photos were captured with a dispolens, essentially a disposable camera lens attached to a DSLR.

These photos came out eerie and cool! I really love this new lens I got and can’t wait to show you all some of my best liminal photography work soon! Soooo… stay tuned!

This place was really eerie and creepy, I’m glad to have explored it more before it gets more damaged due to vandals. Check my previous posts to see more of this place!

As promised in my last post, here's the experimental portraits! 📸

I'm really happy with the result of these, black and white with the grain added really adds to the style that Nate has. Highlighting the earring as well with the silhouette was my chef's kiss.

Nate is such a perfect model, he rocks and knows his style very well, and I hoped I captured that style within these portraits. Be sure to check out his music, up and coming rapper/hip-hop artist from the Des Moines area!

I did a photoshoot with this soon to be graduate Emma as we took senior portraits around the Des Moines area! The fall colors and leaves were perfect for her outfit and overall style! 🍂

A recent trip to Chicago took an
unexpected turn when I wandered upon this abandoned
indoor waterpark resort...

As a kid, I remember stopping here and having a
wonderful time at their indoor waterpark. Running up
the stairs to slide down the slides, cannonballing into
the pool, and trying to cross the water on floating logs.
Now, it sits abandoned and forgotten, but not by me.

This is likely the coolest urbex trip I'll have in a long
while, and I hope you enjoy the photographs I took of
this once thriving resort before it gets demolished.
