Women supporting women—it’s what I love to do. And a huge part of why I started this business in the first place. 🫶

When Kim brought her team along for her second brand photoshoot for .vip.collective, it felt less like a work task and more like a women’s retreat.

So much laughter, so many hugs and the kind of energy that makes you immediately understand why their clients feel so supported.

Our first photoshoot together focused on Kim as the founder—capturing her vision, her leadership and all the different facets of the business she’s built.

Asking for I want here, as a solopreneur should. I’ve always been inspired by interior design and would love to photograph more sessions like this. So please send all the Des Moines interior designers my way!

Back in August, I had the pleasure of photographing this interior design duo (which is actually a trio now) when I was in Sioux Falls for a brand photography retreat with .

Ashley Dupert, owner of , invited us into her beautifully and thoughtfully designed space to create some brand photos with her design assistant, Cami.

Omorfia is the Greek word for beauty, and their intention for every home and work space they create. 🌿

Not only was the house gorgeous and unique, Ashley and Cami themselves are two very beautiful souls that were warm, welcoming and down-to-earth. I loved capturing them doing what they love in a space they thoughtfully created.

And would you believe it from these photos if I told you there were 14 other photographers in this house that day?? And I still created photos that felt like it was just me, Ashley and Cami.

I’m ready to do it again. But selfishly want the clients all to myself this time!

How Amanda made a Statemint. ✨

Meet my client Amanda Marean. She launched in 2024. Statemint is a consignment popup event for adult clothing, shoes + accessories that takes place every spring and fall.

Amanda needed photos for her print and digital marketing campaigns to attract both buyers and sellers. We planned a shot list including headshots of Amanda (and Amanda’s personal style), the shopping experience and clothing items specific to spring and fall.

We gathered her friends to pose as shoppers and to model clothing that would be available in upcoming sales. As most sales take place in large, open event spaces, we used an empty photo studio to mimic that.

It was a fun, full day capturing all of these images for Amanda. She has since launched Statemint in two additional locations: Des Moines + Coralville. ✨

This consignment event is a great opportunity to clean out your closet and score something new at a great price (while keeping clothing out of landfills! 🙌)
