The very first time I heard “Cars and Refrigerators,” I was blown away. The picture it painted was vivid and true. Though I didn’t know Jordan Lee King like I do now, it felt like he’d seen life through the same eyes I had. I’m honored to have created a visual piece to accompany such a powerful song that’ll hopefully help people look at their fellow Appalachians who might have had different circumstances with a little more empathy.

At The Laurel Cove Music Festival we got together with Noeline Hofmann, the bittersweet Canadian artist from the Badlands of Southern Alberta. As she rises to fame, and captures hearts of many all over, she gave us the honor of capturing an unreleased song written in her early teenage years "Badland Boys."

"I wrote "Badlands Boys" when I was 14, one of the first songs ever wrote. It's about where I grew up in the Badlands of Southern Alberta, Canada and the people I grew up around - tough prairie folks and their good timing kids!
