I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Katie owner of The Good Co. DSM 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 I would have never been able
to pull off the look without her help!

She bravely took on the draping, floral wallpaper, the greenery in the fairy forest and the giant book- all parts that completely brought the look together.

Katie and I began our journey working together many years ago as I was her first photographer to rent their VW bus for photo sessions and from there the rest was history ❤️

Any single chance I get to work with other small businesses who I know are out there hustling I will absolutely jump on the chance !!

One week from today, a culmination of 12 years worth of creating magic comes to its final chapter.

Twelve years ago, I had a simple idea and a whole lot of hope. I never could have imagined that one little fairy session would grow into something that would touch thousands of families, become a tradition for so many children, and leave such a lasting mark on my own heart.

Over the years, I’ve watched tiny toddlers return as confident teenagers. I’ve met siblings who are now bringing younger brothers and sisters. I’ve listened to endless fairy wishes, seen nervous little faces light up with wonder, and had the privilege of preserving a piece of childhood that passes far too quickly.

As a mom of five, I’ve always understood how fleeting these years are. Maybe that’s why this project meant so much to me. It was never really about fairies. It was about believing in magic for just a little longer. It was about wonder, imagination, and creating memories families would hold onto long after the wings were packed away.

This final studio is my love letter to every child who ever stepped into one of my fairy worlds and every parent who trusted me with their memories.

Next week, we open the doors one last time.

And while every ending carries a little sadness, I am so incredibly grateful for the thousands of magical moments we’ve shared together over the last 12 years.

Thank you for believing.

IMPORTANT ❤️ We are sooooooo close for the big reveal of our brand new fairy studio in downtown Adel! I have been holding off sharing much, which has been SO hard, but I really want the vision to come to life in the photographs.

However this also means I’ve done zero marketing because I really wanted to wait for a finished space.

I am keeping the $1 per fairy deposit. Also for the first time EVER any session on June 10th or June 17th will be 30% off your package as a THANK YOU from me, for trusting in me and to celebrate 12 years in the making of our own fairytale.

Hours upon hours have been poured into this studio space in hopes of it being a one of a kind immersive experience for your little fairy 🧚🏼

Wallpaper for the fairy cottage glam area has arrived! Over the next few weeks we are going to be in full fairy set up mode as things start trickling in from well over 100 orders 🫣🫣. Truly cannot wait!

Some important things:

-All fairy sessions (including what was Omaha area) will be at the new permanent fairy location in downtown Adel.
-Princess sessions are still outdoors that take place in July and this is for Omaha and Des Moines areas.
