🚗 Just pulled over after a DoorDash delivery, and I’m honestly still sitting here shaking my head... 🤦‍♂️

Don't get me wrong, a **$20 tip** is great and I always appreciate the extra cash! 🍔✨ But it's the *note* they left with it that has me completely bewildered. 📝

The message was written like they had just handed me a winning lottery ticket or single-handedly funded my retirement. It was full of dramatic blessings, treating twenty bucks like a life-altering, monumental event. 🙏😂

I'm glad they felt generous, but since when does a decent tip warrant a written graduation speech? 🤷‍♂️

It started with a single burned-out porch light... 💡

I went to replace it, but noticed the light fixtures were quite dusty after the winter, so figured I’d clean those first. Simple enough, right? 🧼

But as I wiped away the grime, **I then noticed the** siding nearby was looking pretty filthy. Which made me look at the cobwebs in the corner. Which made me notice the gutters desperately needed clearing...

Fast forward two hours: I’m covered in dirt, surrounded by three different cleaning sprays, the ladder is fully extended, and the new lightbulb is *still* sitting on the counter unchanged. 🤦‍♂️

A wonderful night out with great friends, amazing food, and lots of laughs... until the bill arrived.

We had a massive feast and the final total came out to $500. When the receipt came, we pooled some cash together and decided to leave a $40 tip. Honestly, we walked away feeling pretty good about it, thinking we were giving our server a nice extra bonus for her time.

But her reaction? It was the absolute opposite of what we expected. 😳

She actually followed us toward the exit, looked us right in the eye, and told us that a $40 tip on a $500 tab was disrespectful. She said an 8% tip barely covered her tip-out to the kitchen staff, meaning she basically served our large group for free all night. 💔

Picture this: You head out with two friends expecting a laid-back, simple brunch. Good conversation, easy vibes, no fuss. But when the check hits the table, your jaw hits the floor—**$313 for three people.** 🤯

Let’s break down the math on this accidental luxury experience:
