Life in Focus Destin/Side Door Studio She began her career in photography as a teenager, working odd jobs in her parent’s studio.

Cathy is a Certified Professional Photographer and Past President of Panhandle Professional Photographers (P3) specializing in commercial, corporate, and portrait photography. After exploring other career paths in collage, Cathy returned to her first love, photography, and worked full time in her parents business. She opened her own studio in Destin in 2006 and then moved her studio to Niceville i

n 2010. Cathy combines her background in traditional photography with the creative applications of modern, digital technology. She considers herself a lifetime student of her craft and continually pushes to combine the new technologies of the digital age, evolving software such as Photoshop and Lightroom, and 25 years of understanding light, posing, composition, and experience.
