Spotted : the class of 2027 living the last carefree summer before senior year.

The summer you turn 17 feels different. The sunsets seem brighter, the late night drives last longer, and every moment with your favorite people feels a little more important. Before you know it, you'll be walking into senior year and counting down to graduation. Soak it all in, rising seniors. These fleeting summer days are the ones you'll miss the most.

Obsessed is an understatement. One thing you'll never find at DFP is a one-size-fits all edit. I don't chase trends and I don't force every gallery to look the same. If it's cloudy, I embrace the mood. If it's bright and sunny, I embrace that too. Every session deserves to reflect the conditions, the season, and the story unfolding in front of me. That's what keeps each gallery unique and why no two DFP sessions will ever look exactly alike.

Q 1 : What if we get rained out?

I want to start by saying, I RARELY get rained out. It usually doesn't rain for long here but if it happens to be raining during your session time, DFP always tries to reschedule for the next sunrise or sunset slot available before you leave. However, if we are fully booked for those slots, I get you back on the schedule for another time slot. Is the sun much brighter? For sure but your gallery will still be beautiful and scream SUMMER. Just look at this gallery here. I LOVED this gallery so much. I could have edited every photo. I do everything I can to create magic for every gallery.

Friendly tip : completely ignore your weather app when you're visiting. The winds blow those storms in and out so fast that the weather app/channel can't keep up fast enough to give you an accurate forecast.

Spotted : one of my favorite families making another appearance on the gulf coast.

I've been photographing the Ham family year after year, and somehow they just keep getting sweeter. The love, the laughter, the way they adore each other...it never gets old. And can we talk about Haley for a sec? The moment she stepped out in that blue dress, I couldn't stop thinking about Allie Hamilton. Timeless, sweet, and the kind of person that loves deeply. Their vibe all the way to that precious dress, it was all giving major Allie from The Notebook energy. And you already know how much I love a good sunrise session.

Some families leave you with beautiful photos. Others leave you feeling grateful that your paths crossed in the first place. The Ham family has always been the latter.
