P.S. It was fun playing around in studio, especially using these gels. I honestly love shooting color gels on a gray background because gray just makes it look so good, but swipe to the last slide to see that detail. 👀🔥

See when I’m working with clients I honestly don’t prefer them to just do whatever with the poses

Doing whatever isn’t going to always print us more sales

So I direct my clients whether they have models who been doing this forever or a regular chick from Instagram that they know is really pretty and would be good with content

I literally spend time looking at the exact shots I found from the top beauty brands all around the world that make the most money

NOT THE ONES THAT ARE THE CUTEST

Because I understand … Yes my clients want cute pictures.

But most importantly, they want to sell out of their product

So that’s the poses I put them in at our content days

So look, my client wanted to showcase her last set, which could last for any type of person.

We decided to create a character, and that character was a mom.

You can’t have a mom without actually having a baby and a diaper bag, so that explains this shot. 😂

See, when I'm working with my beauty clients that want to sell out their products, they usually need direction with their models because their models are typically women who don't model.

It's important that I focus on using my expertise to achieve the shots that I have studied and seen work for their industry.

And when I do this for my beauty brands, the stress is relieved off of them because they can focus on the product and not all the little things that make a great shoot for the product.

So yes, with my client's model's permission, we are very hands-on, and we do tell our client's model what to do.

When their Shopify site is ringing and buzzing because of the content we created, I'm pretty sure they don't have a problem.

Beauty & Beats Personal Project with Ma Randi 🎸🎧🧨

What a project this was!! I was able to push the edge with lighting using strobes and continuous this series and giving off a more edge rockstar stage presence that was still clean

You’ll see behind her we have the optical spot light with a custom window gobo in it to give “stage presence” then two pops of light on the side from the “Godox ms300s”, closed out with a small softbox gridded to light her face 🔥
