Hawai’i was hit HARD with rain and flooding. As someone from O’ahu it hurts me so bad to be so far away and unable to physically help. People lost EVERYTHING. So, I’m going to do what I can by organizing a fundraiser where 100% of the proceeds will be donated.

In collaboration with who has graciously donated studio time for this! We can update your headshots, update your model comp cards, or just take some fabulous portraits. Let’s get creative! (Max 2 people per time slot)
This is a pay what you can mini photoshoot HOWEVER there is a minimum payment of $55 and a $20 deposit & contract will need to be signed to reserve your spot.

This isn’t JUST for photos. Guys. from New Moon Bakery will be donating baked goods for purchase! .studio will have some art for purchase, AND
I’ll be selling 5x7 prints of photos of O’ahu I’ve taken, oh and did you think I was done? I’ll ALSO be selling clothes from my personal closet & photoshoot closet.
It’s not just photos guys! Stop by, say hi, purchase some goodies, and help me raise some money for families & farmers who lost it all.

Olivia said she wanted to play with shadows and boy did we do just that.
This was a dream of a shoot for me. The weather could not have been more perfect and sunny, the studio .studio just absorbed all that sunshine with the big windows. We were so so lucky.
AND THE DRESS. 😮‍💨
Olivia came ready to blast everyone outta the ballpark!!

Yeah I mean, of course we braved 10 degrees to take pictures with the blue sky and this blue robe and that blue bridge and I somehow made the water look blue too 😎💙
I think we lasted maybe 10 minutes in those temps.

Alright. Buckle up, because I’ve got another caption for ya where, in essence, I just yap your ear off.

I had the UTMOST joy to get to capture this absolutely beautiful human inside her equally beautiful home. Marisa, who is literally just one big beacon of light, invited me to come over and just capture how I see her. This was truly a delight. Equipped with my wide lens and a bag full of fun clothes, I got to see all her thrifted treasures.
An afternoon full of laughs, complicated emotions, matcha, hairless cats, and flowy robes. WHAT MORE COULD A GAL WANT??
Marisa, you are literally such a beauty, you deserve everything. Thank you for letting me into your beautiful space to capture you ♥️

Was I inspired by the new Wuthering Heights movie?
Maybe.
Maybe I was.
Now here’s where I yap a little:
So grateful to all involved in this shoot. Was this intended to be a valentines shoot? If you want it to be, the yes. Did I also just like the color red and needed an excuse to shoot in the space? You’d be right.
Bringing this look to life was so fun. And the order I shared the images feels like an “undressing” of sorts and that felt poetic to me. I DUNNO. Anywho. Thanks for reading, I hope you like these.
