My window installation Berlinage #3. Seen from the inside, an outside detail, panel details and a little number sculpture. I am exploring relationships between Berlin and Detroit. I like the layers and how the outside adds another layer.

The desire to overcome distance. What is the distance between Detroit and Berlin? One of my goals for this residency has been to compare and contrast the two cities. Using some pages of a water-damaged book about Berlin, transparencies of my photographs of Detroit, and other ephemera I am attempting to do that. I also like the layers of history from old to modern.
