‘The Journey Into Self’

It’s been a long time coming.
Sharing this story. Others have done more impressive things, no doubt however this is my experience. Just three months of my life, yet one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve ever been through. Traveling the United States in my Toyota Sequoia.
Throughout my years since this trip, there has not been a single day that I haven’t thought about it.
I experienced moments within myself and surroundings that shaped me. It has been difficult to process because I yearn to feel the way I felt during this time once again.
The solitude. The sublime nature of this world. It can only be experienced if you are out there.
Sometimes it can be overwhelming and this is why I am grateful to have friends to talk to and loved ones that support me.

A cold foggy morning. Stillness surrounds me.
My inner child released.
This was the only place to be.
As the fog faded the memory,
Of what was no longer meant for me.

Stepping into yourself looks different for everyone. Give yourself the time and space to do so.
With that being said, give others the time and space as well.
So many times we project our feelings on others in hopes for them to see our pain or understand our life. Myself included.
There is no need to make negative assumptions about people that you truly don’t know. You haven’t walked a step within their life. Nor do you see with their eyes.
Ask them questions. Get to know them.
Listen. Be kind.

Connection is invaluable to our human existence.
The ability to set your ego aside and create for the sake of love is a powerful motive that allows others to feel the power of their true selves.

A few BTS photos from the final day of shooting ‘The Turners’ Season 1.
Being on set with this crew was one of the funnest work experiences of my life. These two guys .turnerr and are some talented individuals and I respect there craft. Without them, we wouldn’t have had a show so thank you both for being your genuine selves.
In the end we all became family in one way or another.
Pleased to meet everyone that played a role on set for The Turner’s 1st Season!
Blessed to have joined the team the day before they started filming.
I photographed BTS on the last day to fill in for my friend , who got me a position as PA.
I felt like I wore many hats and in that I learned many new skills that I am thankful for.
