This photo of an Andalusian horse in the mountains of northern Spain, is part of a solo exhibit of my images at the Plymouth Coffee Bean Co. in downtown Plymouth. The exhibit runs through the end of August and is in the Yellow Room in the back. Great coffee, cool atmosphere and I hope an interesting exhibit.

This mural of Joe Louis at Gratiot and St. Aubin on Detroit’s near east side is gone (the building was torn down a few years ago), making this photo all the more important to me. I like the framing and the silhouetted man  sitting on the park bench. I’ve included this image in my gallery show that runs through the end of August at the Plymouth Coffee Bean Co. in the yellow room in back. Stop in if you get a chance.

Wonderful night photographing and listening to the stories of a great bunch of speakers at the Student Advocacy Center's Telling Tales event.

I was honored to serve as the volunteer photograper at the Student Advocacy Center's annual story-telling event Friday night. It was an amazing night of great and, often, heart-wrenching stories. Among the speakers was Detroit Shaka Senghor, authori of "Writing My Wrongs:Life, Death and Redemption In An American Prison." Powerful speaker.
