Kailee and Cole’s wedding at the historic Packard Proving Grounds on September 13th was nothing short of unforgettable. Under soft, overcast skies and the perfect early-fall breeze, their day was filled with emotion from beginning to end. One of the most special moments came early in the day, when they shared private vows back-to-back in the vintage garage, surrounded by the charm of classic cars. It was an intimate exchange filled with both laughter and tears, a quiet, powerful pause before the celebration began.

Their sweet young son played a meaningful role throughout the day, making it feel like a true celebration of family. From the heartfelt ceremony to the speeches that followed dinner, every part of the day carried so much love and intention. Katie and Joe exchanged vows on July 12th at Harper’s Vineyard in Townsend, Tennessee, a stunning organic muscadine vineyard tucked into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With sweeping 360° views of the Smokies, this venue offered a breathtaking backdrop for such a heartfelt and meaningful celebration. The day brought a mix of sunshine and soft clouds, casting the most beautiful light over their ceremony beneath the handcrafted wooden arches overlooking the vineyard.

What made their wedding feel so special wasn’t just the scenery​, it was the heart Katie and Joe poured into every moment. Katie made sure the people closest to them felt seen and appreciated, weaving in personal touches and quiet, thoughtful gestures throughout the day. Their celebration was intimate in the truest sense, grounded in love and filled with intention.

This Belle Isle engagement session with the loveliest couple was one for the books. From the moment we began, their connection was effortless—romantic, joyful, and so authentically them. They leaned into every moment with love and laughter, allowing me to capture not just what they looked like, but who they are together. Even with rain threatening to make an appearance, the skies held out just long enough for us to explore the beauty of the island and create some truly magical images. These two made the day feel like a dream, and I’m so excited to document the next chapter of their love story!

June in Detroit brought the perfect pocket of sunshine for this beautiful engagement session! The forecast held out just long enough for us to explore the charming alleyway by the Shinola Hotel and wander the city streets, capturing so many fun, love-filled moments that truly reflect their personalities. I cannot wait to reunite with these two in December for what’s sure to be an incredible wedding day at the historic Ford Piquette Plant!
