Born in a small city of Western New York, my history includes a career in technology working as a System Analyst and Director of Technology at a Michigan U.S. District Court, I was responsible for news journal publishing, public relations, and telecommunications strategies. These responsibilities gave insight into the contributing effects of photography in communicating with others. But as many ph

otographers I began capturing pictures as a youth, occasionally using my parents screw-in flash bulb camera. From there I joined the Air Force at age eighteen and purchased my first camera - a Vivitar 110 – a simple camera that provided me the portable freedom to photograph wherever I found myself traveling. My desire to shoot pictures continued to grow turning into a passion to record notable moments and places in time. After an early retirement from managing technology and years of photographing and cataloging a wide range of images I decided on pursuing a photography career focused on Sports, Travel, Events, Lifestyles in Digital or Film formats. I have become a distinguished photographer with a passion for continuously honing my skills to meet today’s growing photographic challenges. At socially distanced campaign rally I was able to walk easily through people and stand about 12 feet away from Senator Harris on one of her last stops in Detroit about two weeks before becoming vice president elect Harris. I looked back at this picture and said whelp I guess I'll never get that close to her again because her security detail probably just got tripled ...

You know I almost didn't go to this event, and that would have been a shame because I never would have gotten this great shot of our history-making future Vice President of the United States... She almost always has that smile on her face...

Keiona Cook put on an awesome benefit fashion show featuring some of the youth in the Minneapolis community that she inspires everyday of her life. Programs that she has developed educates kids on life skills that are needed to make it to the next phase of their life Journeys. Keiona teaches financial banking skills and the power of having a good credit score, the importance of bringing home good grades along with comprehension of subject matter taught in school, and simple home economics that are so important but have become less emphasized in today's society. Among other things Ms Cook is a master seamstress and fashion designer and instruct her students in the art of sewing creating clothing, comfort items and some most outstanding fashions designs.

It was a privilege to contribute in a very small way to some of the great work that she does on an everyday basis all day long whether anyone's looking or not. Her desire to help the youth is deep in her heart and has been from a very early age.

The U.S. Open Championships started today! Naomi Osaka goes in as the #1 seed and defending champion... Wish I could attend but maybe next year. I'm satisfied with having been courtside for all three of Osaka's matches in Cincinnati and catching photos of her in action. It was big fun!!😁😁😁
