A love letter to September, one of my favorite months for a wedding in Michigan. The lingering summer green is making way for the fall colors. Not too hot or too cold out, and while the days are getting shorter, there’s still plenty of daylight to enjoy. Cocktail hour out on the patio is perfection.

What a day at Book Tower with D+T! Love was all around us, and it was such a joyful celebration from start to finish.

Also, they had 8 (!!) grandparents in attendance, which I think is the most I’ve had present on a wedding day in my 11 years of photographing weddings. How amazing is that!
