Heather and I took Macy out to the play yard today. She had so much fun, I wanted to share some of the pictures.

Macy is a 6.5-month-old Australian Cattle Dog with all the fun, energy, and intelligence you'd expect from the breed. She's at such a great age for training and bonding with her future family.

Macy is going to need someone who's willing to put in the time, training, and dedication to help her reach her full potential. My gut tells me that with the right person, she's going to grow into a truly special dog. Australian Cattle Dogs are known for forming incredibly strong bonds with their people, and I think Macy has the potential to be that once-in-a-lifetime companion.

If you know someone looking for a smart, active dog who's worth the investment, please send them Macy's way. I'd love to see this beautiful girl finally find her family. 🐾

My daughter sent me a cell phone photo of her cat. She lives near a lake so I used Krea to create a lake and the cat sitting on a log by it. It was printed on a 16x20 canvas and I embellished it with acrylic paints and varnish (the pic below is only of the Photoshop painting). She saw it in person last night and without hesitation packed it up and took it home with her.

I recently returned from an Equine Mastery course led by Judy Reinford and Danica Barreau. We photographed Lusitano stallions and mares at Alivio Equestrian Academy LLC, owned by Tina Ann Legno in Lovettesville, VA. We picked one of our own photos to edit in Krea and Photoshop - this is my version of a photo I took of Marietta. We also sent in photos ahead of time that were printed on canvas. We added paints and varnish to enhance them—I’ll post that one separately, and will be posting more of these amazing horses as I have time to work on them. I took so many good photos it's hard to know where to begin!

Meet Edgar, a 6 1/2-year-old dog at the Humane Society of Huron River (hshv.org) in Ann Arbor, MI, who is looking for his forever home! Edgar is a volunteer favorite thanks to his sweet and gentle nature. Sometimes people get the wrong impression when they approach his kennel, but that’s only because he gets excited knowing a walk might be in his near future—and he LOVES walks! Once outside, Edgar is a perfect gentleman. He walks beautifully on a leash and, today, was more than happy to strike whatever pose we asked of him. Look at those soulful, expressive eyes.

This is Arlo. He’s almost two and such a good boy. This picture cracks me up—he was in a sit/hold, but something behind me really had his attention. He didn’t break the command...just call him Mr. Nosey. 😄

Edgar was long overdue for updated photos on the HSHV website. I was looking forward to it, but Edgar really didn't think he needed a new headshot and wasn't all that excited until...TREATS! With a few slices of pepperoni and some patience, Edgar gave us a couple of those “good boy” looks we knew he had in him.

Edgar’s a sweet, and slightly shy guy who knows sit and down. However, more important, Edgar's been patiently waiting and waiting and waiting at HSHV for his forever person to find him. He just recently became part of HSHV's Gold Hearts Club, which means he can now be adopted for free.

So, if you’re into the big, strong, silent type—or know someone who is—please share and help Edgar find his home! ❤️
