I'm originally from Oklahoma and my husband is from the Texas panhandle, so we are thrilled to be "home"! My photography journey started in 2007 when I enrolled in a photography class at Belmont University while working on my Music Business degree. I always enjoyed looking at album art and the idea of photography intrigued me. On the first day of class, the teacher mentioned that nobody in the cla
ss would receive an "A" and we'd all be lucky to get out of there with a "C". I was disheartened and ended up dropping the class for fear of lowering my GPA my senior year. Fast forward a year and a half and my then husband decided he wanted a dSLR. He bought one and I ended up taking it over. I started shadowing a local photographer to gain practice and to learn my camera better. Before I knew it, she started sending me business and I had a photography business on my hands. I never knew I wanted to be a photographer, but it has been an amazing experience. After having twins in 2010, I decided to be a stay at home mom and my photography business became supplemental income for our quickly growing family. Photography gives me a creative outlet and an opportunity to capture the beauty and love of my clients. I serve the Dallas area as well as Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Muskogee areas.
