A little photography update 🤍📸

As I start sharing more of the beautiful sessions I’ve been working on lately, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

This year, I’ve been incredibly blessed by the number of people who have trusted me to capture their families, milestones, and memories. I’ve already made my way through a few wonderful sessions, with more still to come through October. Because of that, I’ve officially made the decision to close my books for the remainder of 2026.

And I genuinely cannot say thank you enough.

Whether you booked a session with me, reached out about one, recommended me to someone, shared my work, or simply followed along and supported me, thank you for believing in what I create. And to anyone I wasn’t able to fit in this year, I truly hope we have the opportunity to work together in the future. 🤍

Once I wrap up my final sessions this fall, I’m going to allow myself to slow down for the winter. I may pick up a session here or there if the timing feels right, but I don’t plan to fully reopen my books until May 2027.

Winter feels like a natural season for rest, and I think I’m ready to embrace that.

Because outside of Ashley Faye Photography, I’m also just Ashley.

I’m a mom to two amazing kids. I’m a wife. I’m a full-time worker. I’m a board member. I’m a friend. I’m a person with a lot of different pieces of my life that I love and want to be present for.

Photography is one of those pieces, and it is a piece I love dearly, but this winter I’m looking forward to pouring a little more of myself back into all of the others, too.

Until then, there is still SO much to come. I have galleries I’m working my way through, sessions I haven’t even shared yet, and more wonderful people still waiting in front of my camera over the next couple of months.

So this definitely isn’t goodbye. It’s really just me giving myself permission to have seasons.

Thank you for keeping me busy. Thank you for trusting me with your memories. And thank you for giving this little creative part of my life so much love.

I can’t wait to show you everything I’ve been working on. 🤍📸

Some photo sessions just leave you smiling the whole drive home, and this was definitely one of them.

Spending the evening with Megan and Daniel was such a joy. They made the entire session so lighthearted and fun, and you can see it in every photo. Their love feels effortless. The way they laugh together, look at each other, and simply enjoy being in the moment made my job so easy.

They shared with me that they’re not only partners, but truly best friends, and I think these images tell that story perfectly.

I had such a hard time narrowing down their gallery because there were just too many beautiful moments to leave out. So… they got a little extra love with their delivery. ❤️

Some evenings remind me exactly why I love what I do. 🤍

This Mommy & Me session with Mattie and Ava was nothing short of amazing. We had the most beautiful evening at the Extension Center, and every moment felt so natural and full of joy.

Photos are so much more than pictures. They capture this season of life and become memories that families can look back on for years to come. It was such an honor to help create those lasting memories for them.

I am so grateful to be getting back behind the camera and creating again. My heart is so full, and sessions like this remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. ✨📸

✨ There’s something beautiful about movement, freedom, and simply being yourself.

I had the opportunity to spend an evening creating with my talented neighbor, and these images feel like a celebration of grace, strength, and confidence. As a dancer, she brings so much emotion and artistry to every movement, turning simple moments into something unforgettable.

From dancing through the tall grass to standing in the water beneath a painted sky, this session was all about embracing the moment, finding joy in the movement, and letting your light shine.
