This year, I submitted my photography to the 21st Regional Survey of Art at The Next Picture Show Community Arts Center.

I was a little nervous to put my artwork out there to be formally judged, but I thought “Why not?”

I haven’t been feeling well the last couple of days, so I missed the reception last night and popped in this morning to check out all of the submissions.

The first thing I saw was my canvas with a 1st Place ribbon on it 🥺

I am shocked in the best way possible and so so happy that I decided to enter ❤️😭
This was a great way to start the weekend 🤗
