We are so excited to share this first look at THE MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR AT STONE FENCES! 🪨🌳

The Mysterious Affair is a feature film we’ve been producing with Celia Ramsey , the writer-director of this whacky wedding world.

They’re naive, immature, and no one takes them seriously. When teenagers Jade and Clara stumble across a potential murder while working at an eclectic farm wedding, they have to pony up and prove to the entire party that they should be listened to.🧨

We just wrapped on our first weekend of filming and had so much fun! This is a great team and it’s going to be such a great movie. In case you’re curious, David is the trusty cinematographer and Corey is the assistant director on this project.

There’s still a chance to be a part of it yourself! The crowdfunding campaign ends this Friday, and we’re just a bit short of the goal we’re reaching for. Check out our link in the bio for more information and to support it yourself! 💐

A listless young adult, her tree-hugging crush, and an old couple team up to protest the closing of their favorite park.

SHOOTING IN MADISON. DATES: August 23rd, 24th. Rain dates depending on availability. (likely in the week following)
Rehearsal also based on availability

ROLES:

Katie (18-21 F)
Hungover, listless student frustrated with society. Learns to defend the park she spends so much time taking for granted. Hippie-vibes. Has a crush on Parker.

Tom (70s M)
Bitter, but with a younger spirit than you’d think. Former activist and artist. Current park-goer and nature lover. Married to Rickie.

Rickie (70s M)
A soft old soul. The voice of reason. Has always enjoyed picnics at the park across the street. Former career man. Tom’s better half.

Parker (18-21 M)
An ecology student and avid naturalist. New in town and exploring the parks. The first to defend the park being closed. Has a crush on Katie.

Beth (30s-50s F)
Authoritative city employee. Fed up with bureaucracy. Former hippie. Needs to do her job, but empathizes with the group. Drake’s boss.

Employee (mid/late 20s)
City employee wanting to complete their task. Easily irritated. A bootlicker and bad at reading the room.

New music video with - Songbird - is out now!!

We collaborated with YONIE to create a somber forest atmosphere with high emotional impact. 🕊️

The tight turnaround on this project made us emphasize pre-production, which is shown most clearly in our beautifully color-coded shot list and tech scout.

We won our first WAVE AWARD from ! It was in the Branding category with our recent ‘About Us’ video.

Along with this award, we also received a Merit Award for ‘Directing’ with .short!
