Let me reintroduce myself. My name now is Monica Rainey. I've recently married my soulmate on April 1st 2023. We live in Douglasville GA.
I have had a camera in my hand since I was 10 years old. (A Mickey Mouse 110mm) I accidentally started my business 22 years ago by taking photos of my son's friends during baseball games. I would print them and just give them to their parents. They finally talked me into selling them the pictures instead of just giving them away. My business just flourished from there. I ended up with a vast clientele that included Wewahitchka little league baseball, football and cheerleading for the City of Wewahitchka. Wewahitchka Middle and High School proms, balls, homecomings, annual sports photos. Gulf County Board of Commissioners, Gulf County Sheriff. I have been privileged to capture the cherished moments of when couples exchange lifelong commitments, hundreds of candles blown out, young girls coming into womanhood, the birth of new life, the joys and anticipations of new parenthood, the excitement of taking the next step toward the future. The moving of the tassle from one side to the other. Seeing life through a lens is one of the most precious experiences and to share that with individuals is a feeling like no other. To know that years from now, generations will look upon my work to remember loved ones and moments in time is such a heart warming and humbling satisfaction. I can only hope I have done them justice 💞

My prices are very reasonable NOT because of lack of quality, technique or education. They are very reasonable because this is my PASSION AND HOBBY 🥰 My career is Financial Controller / Accountant.

Well, it has been a tough decision to make. However, due to my RA, my last photography session will be October 17th for the wedding of a couple of my cherished kiddos from Wewa! Renee and Triston have asked me to be their photographer and what better way to go out with a bang but to do it with 2 of the sweetest people I have enjoyed watching grow up since kindergarten! It has definitely been the hardest decision I have had to make in a long while. Thank you so much for all of the love and support all of my clients, friends, family and communities have given me throughout my journey over the last 24 years! My photography business and career started in Wewa and will finish in Wewa. Such a bitter sweet day it will be! If anyone would like to get one last session between now and then, let me know. After Oct.17th the only reason I will hold a camera is for my personal use. I love you all!🥰🙏
