Thank you, people! I'm very happy to report that sales from the breast cancer notecards during October were terrific!

I'm also delighted to report that I have written a check to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for $625 in loving memory of my sweet friend Joanne Manalla Chauvin!

I'd like to thank all who purchased cards during October and for supporting me in this effort -- not only for those who have sadly gone before us, but also for those who may face a breast cancer diagnosis in the future. It is devastating and it is scary. Let's hope our little donation helps bring us closer to a cure.

Just a reminder that it's still October, and that means it's still Breast Cancer Awareness month .... in two days on November 1, I'll be sending a check to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The amount is still to be determined as I'm hoping some of you will purchase a few more sets of cards because ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THESE CARDS will be donated.

The donation will be made in memory of my sweet, beautiful beloved friend Joanne Chauvin.

You can find ready-to-order hand-embroidered items as well as the opportunity to order personalized and custom made canvas tote bags and zippered pouches. Just a reminder .... October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I've created two sets of notecards to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation -- a worthy cause for which all proceeds of the sale of these cards will be donated in loving memory of my dear and beloved friend Joanne Manalla Chauvin. We're half way there to selling out and I sure would like to sell out by the end of October! Please buy .... for all the women in your life. And some men too.

Last year we lost an angel and heaven gained a sweet, fun, kind, caring, mardi-gras-enthusiastic, funny, loving, beautiful both inside and out woman. Hearts broke at the loss of Joanne Manalla Chauvin and we won't ever stop missing her.

Joanne passed away due to breast cancer. I'm guessing you all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer .... after all, you know me. Yep, four years ago. (Happy to share that I'm cancer free, very fortunate and extremely grateful.)

One in eight women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. 310,720 women AND YES, EVEN MEN (2800) will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year -- 2024. Yikes.

This year, help me do something about it!
I'm bringing back two sets of cards to benefit breast cancer research. Proceeds from the sale of these cards will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This year the BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research and metastatic breast cancer research worldwide. It's the highest rated breast cancer research organization in the country.

So help me sell out and make a donation to this very important organization that will undoubtedly benefit you, your wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and/or friend at some point in your life. If it hasn't already.
