Diane Arbus. A world class photographer. God forgive her. Hopefully she's found peace on the celestial plane. When someone kills themselves the urge to live has waned and living is offensive. Diane found living offensive. Her only passion was the camera and her children. God bless her. These are portraits of Arbus, but you really should Google her extensive work documenting the strange and exotic, eccentric and insane. She thrived in Manhattan.

When Bayard Wootten was an enterprising young lady growing up in New Bern she did many things to create income and further her artistic endeavors. Taxidermy, painting dresses and other textiles, eventually photography, but here we see BW's inventiveness by using seashells she found and a bit of paint to create this card for sale to tourists. Now, I can't imagine where she sold them but it's a great survivor from her childhood, and a great New Bern artifact. This particular card was for a family member.
