It’s funny how one little thing, like doing your makeup can have an impact on people. It sparked a conversation of self love, care, & grace that we all need to give ourselves in this time of fear and uncertainty.
I started challenging myself to do at least one thing for me. First it was to cook breakfast, sit outside and drink my coffee. Then dress up for myself and do my makeup, and so on and so on. It’s baby steps y’all. Instead of dreading each day, I set intentions. I start my morning saying okay what can I do today, what am I in control of, and what will make me happy? The rest goes from there.
I don’t think of myself of an influential or motivational person- but it just goes to show me that no matter what you do- at least one person is out there rooting for you. That one person is enough for me to be willing to constantly be putting myself out there, flaws and all if it means it helps you.
You know how many imperfections I saw when I took these? It’s so easy to focus on what we’re lacking, sometimes we let distract from the big picture. I feel confident, I feel happy, I feel strong. No imperfection, person, or opinion can tell me otherwise.
So if you’re still with me throughout all this rambling I just want to say-
Center yourself, find who you are & give em hell ⚡️ I promise when you speak from your truth you’ll find those people who are drawn to your energy & keep those good vibes flowin 💕 @ Apex, North Carolina
