Gerri and Jack renewed their vows in a beautiful Mass, with their children and grandchildren right by their side taking part in the service. Half a century together, and the foundation they’ve built is everything.

Twenty-one years of putting country first, and a very soon well-deserved retirement! ✈️🇺🇸

It was an absolute privilege to capture these portraits on base for Officer Litman and his family as they close this massive Air Force chapter. Coming from a deep military family myself—with a pilot dad, a Navy captain grandfather, and a brother in the Air Force—I know firsthand the immense sacrifices, transitions, and pride that come with wearing the uniform.

Cheers to the next adventure, Officer Litman! Best of luck on your final touchdown, and try to keep your feet on the ground for at least a little while.

Recently, a friend shared with me that she is currently in her “nostalgia era.”

Admittedly, I feel like I live in a permanent nostalgia era. Maybe it’s this photographer gig, who knows? It’s that bittersweet tangle of happiness and sadness—wishing I could pop back into a photo for a quick hug, a solid piece of advice from a loved one, or just to hear my kids’ sweet toddler giggles again.

This shoot was one of my absolute favorites. Three sisters who deeply adore their childhood home walked me through its hallways and rooms, sharing their favorite spaces and the stories woven into the walls.

Documenting their history made me realize that preserving these spaces is just as important as the people who filled them.
