It’s always a joy to photograph families more than once and this family is no exception. Last time we did fall photos so we wanted to switch it up this time and captured the gorgeous greens of late summer 🌿
My husband and I have had the pleasure of really getting to know these friends in the past couple of years and they have been a huge blessing to us. Having a safe space to ask questions (that feel elementary) when learning about your faith is so so important and this couple really helped us and didn’t make us feel silly for asking such questions 🙃

In case anyone was wondering, yes, I am still a photographer 😅
Life has been…well, life. I haven’t been doing too many session but I have a few squeezed in for the end of summer in the next few weeks.
I had a blast with Chris and Morgan last night! They were so easy to work with and made my job easy 🙃 The gorgeous light also helped a ton! Shoutout to my husband for finding this location when our original one fell through.
You guys are amazing and welcome to the family Morgan! Chris is my husband’s cousin and let’s just say…they’re more similar than I realized 🤣 you’re in good hands Morgan ♥️

SO much change in 2 years…the dog is the obvious one but the kids…from how they’re dressed to their size, it’s all different. They used to let me pick their outfits for pictures and this time…not so much. They have their own styles and I just said to heck with it, this is them. Our Lulu Bell has been such a wonderful addition to the family 🥹♥️

I haven’t really been wanting to pick my camera up lately. Feeling lost in a creative slump with too much noise flying in and out of my head. There is a lot going on in this current season and I’m trying to enjoy it but feeling overwhelmed most of the time. I’m happy I took ten minutes before the rain came back to persuade this beauty to pose for me in front of the flowers 🕊️

It’s Christmas Mini Session time! This Saturday!! I’m going to be completely honest and not act like I’m ’fully book but have a few sessions available…’ I didn’t book nearly as much as usual. And that’s ok! I will allow a few more to come in the morning if you’re interested 🙃 Just shoot me an email and I’ll let you know which times are open! Full payment must be made to hold your spot since it’s this weekend.
I finally had time to gather my Christmas decor. This is the latest I’ve been in years but also the first time I’ve had a part time job since Evie was born 😅 If you love the vintage look- this session is for you! If you love the props but prefer the last two images, this is also an option! It’s actually a very easy switch up…anyone know this trick? One of my beautiful photographer friends showed it to me…love you !

I’m sort of surprised how much I love these images of my kiddos…hear me out. When it comes to set ups (and life in general) I’m all about the props and trinkets. If you’ve ever been to my home, I love decorating with thrift finds, old books, plants, all the things. But there is something in the simplicity of these shots where you just really look at the subject.
These are an option for Christmas minis if you’d like something simple and clean that you can use all year. If not, I’m going to have a great Christmas setup with all the traditional, vintage vibes 😊 Sign ups are CLOSING this Sunday so please email asap if you’re interested!
