When I'm not feeling very well or I'm feeling extra tired and I don't know why, I take a moment to evaluate these four things:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Where am I in my cycle? Thanks to , I know that my infradian rhythm means that I will feel differently at different times of my month-long cycle.
2. What have I eaten today? I often forget to eat, so sometimes the answer is: eat something, silly.
3. What do my surroundings look like? My brain has trouble focusing if my surroundings are chaos (aka always right now during this moving process). A quick tidying up of my work space can really help me focus.
4. When's the last time I took a break? Sometimes, all I need is to step away from work for a bit and give myself some time to rest.

If you're struggling today, or any day, take a moment to evaluate these things. You might just find a solution. :)

Which background color is your fav? 🎨

This edit takes a lot of time, I'm not gonna lie. But I like that I can customize the background color to fit my clients brand! Every studio has limited color options for backgrounds, so this way, I can make sure I still include my client's brand color.

I've had this specific pose saved on Pinterest for awhile. It sounds so silly, but this photo has literally been a little dream of mine.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I think we forget that photographers are artists. We don't look at a photo and only see two people standing there.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We look at all the details, like how the colors in this image complement each other. How their hands connect their bodies together. The way this photo feels intimate, even though we're just looking at their hands. We notice all the little things that make a photo beautiful.

At the end of the day, I'm an artist and my photos are my art. And I just love that I get to make art with my camera.

So even though it's silly, I'm really glad I finally got to use this pose and I'm obsessed with this photo. So much so that it's one of the photos I used for the banner of my website's homepage.
