THE CHILDHOOD STORIES PROJECT
I want to get better at storytelling and I want to focus all of my energy on what I love most in my business and that's childhood. For many years I focused on fine art portraits, creating the perfect scene and getting the poses just right but I want a change. I need a change.
Some of childhood's most beautiful memories aren't the perfectly posed ones. As a parent you know that too.
They're the muddy feet.
The belly laughs.
The bedtime stories.
The sibling giggles.
The little treasures they collect.
The messy kitchen.
The moments when they're completely lost in their own little world.
Those are the moments I want to photograph. The candid moments just like the snapshots of our own childhoods that were captured on film and disposable cameras.
I'm opening a very limited number of spots for a special creative portrait project designed around real childhood experiences, connection, and storytelling.
There's aren't mini sessions. They will be full sessions up to an hour long but at the same time I don't want to rush through your child's story or watch the clock while I'm waiting for the perfect moment. I want to give your child room to be themselves and create beautiful, authentic images along the way. So if time runs over an hour so be it. If the story is over quickly and your child is ready to go then we call it. Every story, and every child is different so these sessions will follow the path that your little one allows. If they need time to warm up then that's what they get.
I'm offering 6 different Childhood Stories, with only a handful of spots available for each.
These sessions are not geared towards any one age. If you have a child that fits into one of these categories and you want to participate in this childhood stories project I would love to chat.
Below are the details to each category I would like to fill.

🍂 A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS 🍂
These are limited creative project spots, not regular Fall Collection sessions.
Because I'm creating these specifically to expand my lifestyle and fine-art childhood portfolio, I'll be carefully planning each concept, location, and experience with each family. I want these to fit your lifestyle and your child's childhood.
Only 12 total spots are available.
Once they're gone, they're gone.
If one of these Childhood Stories sounds like YOUR child, send me a message with the name of the concept you'd like and I'll send you the details and we can discuss a time to create.
Let's remember the childhood they're actually living—not just how they looked that year.
