Made a new friend in Durango 🦊

I met this friendly young red fox right outside of Durango, Colorado. I saw him/her and their sibling hanging out right in front of an elementary school. That’s right, not in the middle of the wilderness, but in front of a school. While their sibling was less sociable, this little fox was welcoming and loved hanging with me while posing for some close ups. After about 10 minutes, this little fox’s social battery ran out and decided to join their sibling in their fox hole. While it was a short time, I was grateful to have had the time to hang out with the sweetest red fox.
