Do you ever think about a friend that you have, that you’ve had now for over 10 years, that you met on a bus in Northern Ireland, that you’ve stayed incredibly close to despite the thousands of miles that separate you, that you manage to see once a year and have the most incredible adventures with, so much so that you eventually get matching tattoos to commemorate your friendship and one of those amazing adventures, that you are always just so happy to think about and happy to think about the friendship you have?

And then you meet their partner, who they met a few weeks before joining you on a 3 month roadtrip across the US, who they’ve been dating now for almost seven years, and love their partner almost as much as you love your friend because they are a wonderful person and a perfect match for your friend, and then their partner proposes to your friend, the same friend that makes you smile so much?

AND THEN have you ever had the opportunity to create engagement photos for your friend and their wonderful partner on a beautiful day in the mountains of Colorado and while you’re editing their photos you are brought to tears just seeing how happy your friend and their wonderful partner are together and how happy it makes you to see your friend so happy and how happy you are that you and your friend are still such good friends despite the thousands of miles that separate the two of you?
