Big plans don’t always pan out. Sometimes you have to move on and start something new⚡️
I haven’t posted much lately and for better or worse it’s time for an update. Today is my last day with the IS250. When I bought it back in June I had plans for her (mostly cosmetic), but in reality she was limited, partially by my financial situation of moving countries but also by the car itself. The 2IS is a great car, and it served the perfect purpose over the last 6 months. I drove thousands of miles across the U.S., sometimes with hundreds of pounds tied to the roof. I made some great memories driving to see the love of my life in this car. But in reality, I don’t just want a pretty A to B car: I wanted something fun and engaging and reasonably reliable. I may miss this car occasionally, but in 6 months of ownership I could count on my hand the times this car made me smile and say “man I love driving this.” Would I own another 2IS? 100% yes, with limitations. With that, I say goodbye to the IS250 and say hello to something new coming very soon.
