Music carries a message, community is the amplifier.
Grrrl Bands SOLD OUT The Pinhook on a frigid,🥶 blustery January Sunday night! That was a first! 🔥🤘🏻🎶🎵🎉💜

This showcase was loud, packed like sardines, and full of people showing up for each other. Bands, friends, family, friends who are family, strangers, and venue staff! All a part of the same energy. Proof that when we come together, powerful things happen. There is so much power at the intersection of community and music. Everyone in that room matters. And we're just getting started! The soundtrack showcase is March 15th at ! Meet us there!

Join me at 's Holiday Market this Saturday, December 13th! You'll discover an assortment of my prints for the nature-lovers on your list, and you can snag some for yourself too!

This collection is: "The Peace of Wild Things: Nature for Your Nervous System." They come from the time I make to escape to my backyard or local/distant woods and mountains when the world is too loud or the "to do" list is too long, or I need to regulate my body and calm down. Most are macro photos from my backyard, a few are from local treasures and events, and some are from travels to see our beautiful world in various parts NC, other states, and international destinations.

For as long as I have used a camera, these photos have just been for me. I realized during my latest little afternoon of slowing down and taking some time to witness all of the tiny miracles in my backyard, that there are many other people who would also appreciate these tiny worlds that too often go unnoticed in our hustle and bustle and technology addiction. Please come enjoy and indulge in the secret life of small things in these close up worlds with me! Add a little joy from the tender wild to the walls and tables of your home. 🥰

This is the first time I am selling a print collection and I hope that you enjoy and it brings some joy, calm, wonder, and light to your every day! ✨🧡🐝

Celebrating Pride feels especially powerful in a small town. The first year I lived here, there wasn't a Pride weekend. The second year, the first ever Pittsboro Pride. It was a powerful day. Last year I had the honor and absolute joy of making portraits at what might have been the first ever (public) drag show in the area. As I prepare to celebrate this year, and make portraits of you beautiful people, I'm full of emotion thinking back on the last three years leading up to this 3rd I love our local community, and I'm so happy and grateful to be here. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗❤️💖
