Strawbridge in 1923, Strawbridge Studios got its humble start in the basement of the family
home with the simple goal of creating prints for school recordkeeping. Being amongst the first photography
companies, it quickly gained traction. Over time, the Strawbridges have turned J.E.’s passion into a 4th
generation familyowned company that has been in business for almost 100 years. Built on the foun

dation of tradition, integrity and strong family values, Strawbridge Studios is now led by J.E.’s
grandson, Ken, as CEO, and great grandson, Michael, as President. While the company has expanded across
the nation into 28 states and the District of Columbia, the roots and headquarters remain in the heart of Durham, N.C.

The best operational improvements start with developing the people behind the process.

That philosophy was a recurring theme throughout our experience at Think Forum 26.

Prior to the event, members of our team completed Canon's Operator Pro Plus program and became the first customers to participate in Canon's Customer Technician Training, an important step in strengthening our self-maintenance strategy and technical expertise.

During the forum, Jon Green had the opportunity to serve on two panels discussing Improving Print Room Productivity, sharing how investing in people, training, and self-maintenance programs can drive greater efficiency, reduce downtime, and create a stronger operation overall.

This past week, we came together in Durham, NC for our annual Sales Meeting, where we had the opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the people and purpose that make Strawbridge who we are.

This year’s theme, "America’s most trusted family-owned school photography company since 1923," served as a reminder of the legacy we continue to carry forward and the commitment we have to our schools, families, and communities.

From leadership presentations to meaningful conversations among our teams, this week reinforced the values that have guided us for over 100 years and the passion we share for capturing life’s most important milestones.
