Hello all! I am looking for some subjects for a personal art project that I am working on. The name of it is "Opposites Attract." I am looking for couples or families that are physically different. We are going to make "relationship" style black and white images that show their connectivity. I would like the overall statement to be that we con overcome diversity and focus on our commonality. The damage in the western part of our state is horrific. Asheville has always been one of my favorite places on the planet. I have been beside myself with trying to find some way of helping these folks. I have a friend who sells property insurance and he told me that the current industry estimates are that only 1% of the damage will be covered by insurance. The reason is that none of those people had flood, landslide or movement of the earth coverage. They weren't in an area where it was a risk. Sure there is FEMA, but they will only do so much and will only happen so fast.

I decided that as small business owners, Jen and I had the means of trying to help. So I am reaching out to everyone we know to give them an offer. From now until Monday 10-7-24, if you book a session with us. 100% of the session fee will go to the Red Cross of NC and targeted toward the hurricane relief fund. Portrait sessions also make a great gift for the holidays!

Here's how it works. Regularly our sessions are $375, $175 for the session fee and $200 is the minimum purchase. We are waiving the minimum purchase requirement for this event. So for $175 you get a session that can be used anytime in the next 24 months with no minimum purchase requirement. All you need to do is click the link below to pay for the session.

Even if you don't want to book a session, you can transfer the session as a holiday gift. Just let us know who you want it to go to and we will add it to their account.
