I went to the North Pole this week… and came home a better photographer.
Not because of new gear.
But because of what I learned.
For the past couple of days I’ve been surrounded by incredibly talented photographers at Santa’s Enchanted Workshop. We were learning, laughing, sharing ideas, and pushing each other to grow.
And while we talked about lighting, posing, and creating magical sets… the biggest lesson wasn’t about cameras at all.
It was about connection.
The way a child lights up when they see Santa.
The way families lean into a moment together.
The way a photograph can hold onto a memory long after the season passes.
I came home inspired, grateful, and excited to bring what I learned back to the families who step into our studio this year.
Sometimes the best way to grow is to step away, learn from others, and return with fresh eyes.
I’m so thankful for the experience… and for the magic that happens when creative people come together.
If you could spend a week learning anything at the North Pole, what would it be?
