😊It's the most wonderful time of the year!!😊
Are you a busy mom trying to plan your Christmas cards for the holidays? I got you covered!!:) It can be so stressful trying to get the family ready for pictures, pick out outfits, make sure everyone looks nice, and get everything ready. I will be hosting these mini sessions in my home in Eagle Mountain with all the props and set up ready to go when your family shows up. Christmas is a joyful time of year and my favorite time of the. year!:) Come have a jolly ole good time with me and my family!! LIFE UPDATE: Moving is so hard!!!😩

We have upgraded from a basement apartment to a full house!:) Yes with 4 little kids, it was time to get some more space for our growing family. We absolutely loved living there and had amazing neighbors. Our ward was the best and we will definitely miss seeing them on Sundays.

We are still in Eagle Mountain because we enjoy living here!:) It a nice to be by friendly neighbors and still be close to our friends that we have connected with here.

Some things that we are so grateful to have now are: a dishwasher, a basement for the kids to play in, an extra bathroom and bed room, a yard with grass, and a big kitchen/living area to hold gatherings!:)

I feel so much gratitude today for what we have and for our lives. We truly are blessed and can't complain. Even though the first 2 weeks were really hard for me and I struggled, I am grateful that we are here and creating new memories.

We have lots of photography coming up so stay tuned for more pictures of weddings and family sessions! Happy Wednesday everyone!:)

You want to know why we do what we do? Here is our WHY!

Zach and I have been happily married for almost 6 years now and what a tremendous blessing it has been to be with my best friend and the love of my life. Our marriage is far from perfect but we love how we feel and how strong we are as a couple. A huge part of this strong relationship comes from God. We are firm believers that He is part of our marriage and is the one who we turn to when we are seeking help or even expressing gratitude for what we have to Him.

Of course we love to take beautiful photos and videos of our brides, grooms, and families, but most importantly we love helping other couples and families strengthen their love and relationships with each other. We feel called to help couples and families have LOVE, JOY, and BEAUTY in their relationships. If you truly know us, you know that we are very loving and caring people. We make everyone feel welcomed, loved, and special. We also like to have fun!:) We are people who love getting together with friends and doing adventurous things with them. And yes we are beautiful people 😊 but the beauty we are talking about is seeing others as their true selves. That is what we love capturing. The beauty within you is beautiful and worth seeing! We capture the LOVE, JOY and BEAUTY of our clients because you are beautiful and some to show off to the world. We love you all! ❤️

You know posting is probably the hardest thing for us 🤣 but hey, we are still here and have taken off another month to enjoy the holidays. But we are back🤪

We went down to Saintgeorge and stayed at an awesome hotel with an indoor pool. Swam, ate good food and went to the fun children’s museum.

Hawkes Family! 🍁

Another beautiful and fun session I had tonight. We got to be up at Jolly's Ranch this evening to get some gorgeous pictures before the leaves fall off the trees. Shon and Bree met at UVU in their church ward. They have 6 adorable children and one is getting ready to leave for his mission in almost a month.

I am Katelyn Van Pelt and I started doing photography about 5 years ago professionally. I pulled my husband into doing photography after my first year. After countless courses, over hundreds of photo sessions, we became a successful startup business.

We decided to build the KZ Brand and dedicate our free time to photography over 5 years ago. Since our first year of doing photography professionally we have worked with so many brides. It's fun to see all of our hard work in the last 5 years.

During Zachs business classes at UVU he read somewhere that startup businesses usually will end after 5 years in business or less. Thankfully we are going strong and having so much fun with it.
